After another over-regulated race resulting in two post-race disqualifications, F-1 moves to Mexico for their Grand Prix. It will be interesting to see which teams continue to progress towards 2024 and providing competition challenging Team Red Bull and Max Verstappen.

If Perez wins, that will be awfully suspicious as being a set-up for desired outcomes and if that is true, then F-1 is the New NASCAR!!

Verstappen is way too selfish to play along with this idea.
No way he slows down for anyone.

Starting to smell a bit fishy. FP3 is completed and Perez elevates to position three. Qualifying is next. Verstappen is driving the wheels off his car as he dominates all three practice sessions!

That and Checo isn’t half the driver Max is, but let’s keep going with the RedBullDoesAnythingToMakeSureMaxWins conspiracy

Perez was 3rd in FP1 also. Was that fishy?

Somewhat, ckhokie considering recently Perez has not been around the top 5. He seems to do better in his hometown In Mexico.

I dont think that at all.
Max is head & shoulders better. But also all about himself not team.
When he pretty much had the championship easily earlier this season.
That was not enough he pitted at the end to get the fast lap from his teammate so he could have it. Even though an extra point would be much more advantageous for checo since Max was running away with the championship.
My comment isnt about Red bull at all. (although I could never see RB telling Max to not go for a win) My comment was about how Max himself is.

My point. No way Max slows down. Max is about Max. (BTW I dont think any driver should give away wins)
They wouldnt be able to convince Max to give up a 4th or 5trh place so his teammate could score more points for 2nd in points.

So my point stands. Even if RB tried to get Perez the win (which I dont believe) in Mexico. No way Max would play ball.

Qualifying is complete and Ferrari takes the front row. LeClerc takes pole followed by Sainz. Verstappen is Third. Then Perez in Fifth behind Ricciardo.

Wild hair maybe. Don't know. He had decent practices and he always liked Mexico.

No further penalties for "infractions" in qualifying.

The top 3 were under the microscope. Unlikely those guys were all going to get acquitted, 2 for the same offence.
