nobody, but if bullying is so bad why not start throwing people in jail for it?
They should charge the guy. Threatening to assault his mother and kill him?
Yeah he's a pussy for making an issue out of it...

Incognito's getting off easy. In almost every other line of work, he'd be fired and would have a hard time getting a job of any real value.
really, you want to send people to jail for making threats? i could see the prison population increasing drastically.

So Mcro_rave where is the line? All around the country and world kids and adults alike are being threatened daily by others. Sometimes being called names. Other times as we see here with Martin threats of physical violence towards him and those that he loves. We are talking about money being taken. This happens all the time where kids are afraid to take nice things to school in fear of them being stolen. They are physically abused to the point that they feel they need to bring weapons to school to protect themselves. Again where is the line in all of this?
there is no clear line is all this. I was bullied severely as a kid growing up with the inability to grow hair and being a small child (115 lbs) in 11th grade wasn't easy, and today i'm still called name like powder, mr Clean etc.
I think the best thing to do is to teach people to be proud of who they are and don't let others opinion bother you. I had to learn this early and my philosophy today is i am who i am you like or you don't and if you don't too fucking bad.
You know I was never bullied, just the opposite I was a decent sized kid but I was tough and knew how to fight so I bullied kids, and I regret that a lot today.
What kind of answer is that? I'm sorry you were bullied as a kid. I'm glad that you have risen above it but there are thousands upon thousands of kids every year that can't rise above it and either respond with violent outbursts towards others, have mental problems the rest of their lives because of bullying problems, or even worse end up taking their own life. Not everybody can rise above the bullying they are going through. Not everybody's mental make up is the same. Wouldn't it be better to try and take on the issue of bullying and stop it before it stops than just hope people are tough enough to handle all that they go through? Many people who are bullied end up becoming bullies themselves towards others. Seems like a bad pattern to continue to allow to happen in this world. Icognito has already come out talking about the bullying he went through and now look what it has lead to in violent outbursts and mentally abusing others.
Food for thought:
Our fucking military has anti-hazing rules that can get your ass court-martialed or worse. Those are the baddest of the bad. They know how bad of an environment this creates and addressed it. If they can do it, the NFL can and should.
the old i can't argument...........i have no sympathy for those that say "I CAN'T"
we all get bullied at some point, i'm picking on the decision to suspend a player because another player cried about being bullied.[/QUOTE]
Agreed...for right now I'll call it mental abuse b/c Idk Incognito had any physical intimidation going on.
The point I'm making is Martin really handled this in a mature fashion even though it might appear to be soft...weaker minds are more likely to take the easy way out and take people out...rather than deal with it.
