Phillies Pitching 2015 Rotation

First, the Phillies should put Kendrick, 30, and Hernandez, 34, on a bus. By next year Lee, 36, will probably be gone. Miquel Gonzalez, 27, is an unknown long shot, probably forget it.

We must find a starting rotation next year out of what's left: Hamels, David Buchanan, Ethan Martin, Jon Pettibone, and possibly Nola if he's up to the task. I wonder if we could make a deal for someone like TB's David Price, a lefty.who's a free agent next year. Without Lee we'll need another experienced pitcher to be competitive over the next year or two.

Well, he was just a suggestion. We won't get a solid starter for cheap. Unless Lee can somehow get healthy and become the 2015 miracle man.

Amaro has a plan. He will find some professional baseball players and sign them.


Now these professionals will be aged retreads who sucked even in their primes (and are now well past it) but all it takes is a few of them to really turn it on and the Phillies will win!

Nobody wants that contract of Howard's. Everyone except Boobens knows that contract is a complete sham and Howard is a pedestrian player at this juncture in his career.
