Doesn't make much sense to add an outfielder who is weak against Lefty pitchers and to add to Marsh and Castellanos, the latter who is also weak against Lefties. I don't consider this addition to be much good except to fill an offensive need but not to completely fill the outfield defensive need.

So far all I’ve seen out of the Phillies front office is dumpster diving and that looks like all the fans are going to see

I guess the front office feels that their team is good enough to win the whole thing

I agree Snowdog. The FO of this storied franchise has done little and signing Kepler is probably going to be a dumpster dive move while they are actually considering giving Harper his wanted extension when his production has slowly been declining.

Phillies got rid of some of their garbage by trading a lefty relief Pitcher was down getting seasoning for a Right Hander Aaron Combs from the White Socks. Don't know where this trade fits in the bigger scheme of things but maybe this was some house cleaning.
