That 6-5 loss was brutal. We had it won. Phils could have taken the series 3-1.

Yeah. That's what I mean about just a few uncalled losses each month is costing the Phils a better record. They do have an offense. Sometimes like last night they seem to come out of it with everything working together from the mound and at the plate. Hopefully, with the Mets losing two in a row, Phils can win two in NY this weekend. When we have a lead in the late innings it's important for Girardi go with the best in the BP even if they get a little overworked.

I totally agree and that sheds light on Girardi's part to this mess. He sometimes does not have the best out there especially in the pitching department in the late innings. Cholley seldom made that error but Cholly had a way better BP than Girardi has right now. Maybe they'll get it right going forward.

This defense is brutal. When you think about the successful teams they had in the past, they always had above average defense. Realmuto is the only one really above average at his position. I guess Segura is good as a second baseman. It's possible to win without elite defense, but not when you get shut out 5 times in the first 2 months. The pitchers bear some responsibility too but the Phils defense isn't doing them any favors with all the mistakes.

It doesn't help much to ground-out to second when you have two on Second and Third and you are down 3-0.

And we are back to walking batters and now the Mutts have two on First and Second with one out.

Nice double play to end the side and we have the offense to tie this game and possibly go ahead.

We are not putting ourselves in positions to score runners who are on base like the use of sac flys and sech. We just discombobulated sometimes.

Its either strike-outs at the plate or ground-outs and so far we remain scoreless.

When the other team is throwing mostly strikes and your own pitchers are throwing a lot of balls, it is going to be a long day.

Lindor gets walked to start the side and with no outs, the Mutts are in great shape to add more runs.
