With an AAV under 30 million, I think there’s room for starting pitching as well as 2-3 more bull pen arms. Let’s goooooo!

Doesn't matter if you pull your ace in the 6th inning, with 70 pitches and a shutout

Nola, Wheels and Ranger

I like the sound of Nola, Wheels, Ranger, and Rodon.
From what I’ve read, Phil’s are out on Rodon. Apparently it has to do with draft compensation for signing free agents in a certain level. I didn’t hear the particulars though.

In 2013, Rodon and Turner were best friends and roommates and led N.C. State to its first College World Series appearance since 1968. Dombrowski needs to step it up. I read that the Giants would be owed draft compensation for Rodon, but FO should be able to work that out. Yanks and Cards are hot for Rodon.

Just read that because the Phil’s signed Turner they lose pick(s) if they sign Rodon or any other FA that has declined a qualifying offer. That leaves out the top tier of pitchers like Rodon.

Sucks cause technically the Phil’s haven’t even added any payroll yet. Didi and Jean in 2022 cost more than Stott and Turner in 2023.

At the same time…Phil’s seem to miss more than hit in the draft so why not piss away that compensation and go get a top 3 of Wheeler-Rodon-Nola. That immediately makes them not just a contender but a favorite.

Yeah I'd hate to see them give up a pick and miss out on selecting the next Mickey Moniak or Cornelius Randolph
