seriously ?? you think that was worse than tom going 18-0 and losing the Super Bowl ?? not a chance

one had a lead late in the game one played part in putting his team in a hole.

lets not discredit Seattle here they should have been the favorites they were most the season. (at least till Manning eclipsed the records)

The bounces went Seattle's way. The Seahacks played great D. Manning had an off day. But Manning did not choke.

Listen: Dude's a 5 time MVP, top 10 QB all time and coming off one of the greatest regular seasons ever by a QB -- after playing over 15 seasons in the NFL.

thats the problem though he still throws up a lot of duds in the post season it comes with the territory when you have to do all the heavy lifting.

This is another thinly veiled attempt to not give the Seattle defense any credit. Manning completed a record number of passes for a SB, but the defense didn't let any of them break for big yards and the pass rush completely beat up the leagues best pass protection line.

This was NOT on Manning. It was a total and complete domination of all 3 phases of the game. Manning was on defense and special teams too.

this first and foremost. however you do have to agree that manning whether it was the hawks, his normal regression in big spots, or a mix of both he was horrendous

Donkey's loss was team effort. Not just Peyton who is still one of the QB greats of all time. Donkey's loss was on all 3. O, D, and ST.

The Seahawks D, especially with the beefed pass rush Avril and Bennett brought this year, is total kryptonite to these drop back offenses and Donks haven't the D to make up for it. Seattle doesn't allow shootouts. Pete Carroll puts such an emphasis on D, ya just can't walk in and expect a drop back QB to school that D. Not with our D roster depth.

And our O will gas the best Ds as the game rolls on.

This had nothing to do with Peyton. He had zero chance today against Seattle, his whole team let him down... as Regent said.

Really? Does it have to be a choke by a QB? What about the coach, did he F up? Maybe the Gm didn't have the luxury of trading a first rounder for Harvin, or the cap space to pay Cliff Averill?

Honestly, why are some of you so shallow and stupid? Is it your goal to hang off your teams qbs nuts that is important? Really??? are you this much of a nut hugger???

when you have a 5:1 MVP to Rings ratio it is pretty clear that you can't perform on the big stage
I dont think thats clear at all, I think what that points out is that it takes the entire team playing well to win a ring.
