Nobody showed up to help Peyton so I wouldn't blame it on him… His O-line was outmatched all game long, and his receivers (mainly D. Thomas) were pretty pedestrian. Pretty poor showing all around, but no need to state the obvious.

Denver made it to the big show, which is more than what 30 other teams can say. No judgement here!

Yeah, I don't get it. Real sports fans enjoy excellent play, no matter what. Manning and Brady are amazing, and now some other teams and players are making their marks. It's an exciting time if you're a sports fan.

Peyton gave the Seahawks 7 points. That's it. And he scored 8. So the loss is not his fault. You can't put those first 8 points on him. He did not choke. Period

He's running what is supposed to be the "greatest offense of all time", can only score 8 points with this "greatest offense of all time", and that's not his fault? Are teams supposed to win Super Bowls by scoring 8 points?

Manning didn't "choke" the game away. He was beat.

Seattle was just better, pure and simple.

Agreed and Manning didn't play lights out like he has all year but it looked like a lot of the Broncos offense wasn't anywhere near ready for Seattles defense. D. Thomas was the only guy that played pretty well on that unit. The line wasn't good and the TE and other receivers were completely shut down.

As for the defense, yes they stopped the run game well but that secondary is not very good, to say the least and did they forget how to tackle?

No way is this a "choke" by Manning, imo. He is too easy of a target when the Seahawks dominated every aspect of this game.

well...Manning wasnt great, but all the rest were even worse..as if they didnt take this game seriously at all...the same way they lost last year...for a change though, I have to admit, a lot of the mistakes were forced by Seattle..usually the Bronco's can just shit the bed like this all by themselves

He got rattled, but it wasn't the worst choke job.
But I don't think I've ever seen a guy just pack it in like that in the superbowl before.
I mean, at least play out the rest of the game to show the fans you give a damn, for your own pride, whatever, even if it's a futile effort.
