I might die of oxygen deprivation but it won't be lack of heart. There are ways to make up for age.

Perine will do well given the chance. Watched almost every game in college and he can be a beast. Patience boys
I don't think Perine is the answer to Washington's running game. Oklahoma's other back, on the other hand, Joe Mixon, looks much better and could have a decent career.
How so?

I'm not sure which one you're talking about, but I think Mixon can change directions when running which is a key to longevity. Perrine may be a "bull," but that type usually doesn't last long.
I am not to sure about the longevity thing because Bettie lasted forever. Terrell Davis didn't.
Maybe Mixon changes direction better but these highlights are awesome, and he can change direction.
College doesn't count. I've watched both on the field as pros. Only thing I consider.

I am not sure how you came to that conclusion by their professional careers. Neither has done anything.
Statistically, Perine has been better and has done it when the other team knew it was coming. Mixon has done it while nobody expects a run because they have been blown out twice.
I think you would have been better leaving out the pro part. It is totally fine to like Mixon more but don't give BS reasoning.
Ehh I would argue in a very very small sample mixon definitely looks better so far.

I've watched a lot of pro football in my life. Mixon will have a better career unless injuries intervene. Just my opinion.
Oh...that is fine to believe. I just wanted to see your reasoning. Comparing their professional careers was BS at this point. Had you mentioned vision, illusiveness, speed, or some other comparative device you would be fine.
I had originally mentioned that I thought Mixon was better at changing direction than Perrine who seemed to be more of a straight away runner.
Take Franco Harris, one of the great NFL runners. I never really thought he was great until I saw him in person. He knew when to cut, change directions, and spin out of the grip of others. That's what made him great.
I just see that in Mixon.
Time will tell. Injuries and Roger Goodell have a way of changing careers.
As can the impact of the offensive line. Last I checked the Redskins had at least a top 10 O line & they appeared to run block very well last Sun. The Bengals O-line is considered to be one of the 2-3 worst in the NFL at this time. They appeared to be enamored with skill positions in the last draft & appear to have neglected the O line which needs major help.
no buddy we will swarm on you like hornetsWill everyone leave me alone on Perrine and Mixon. I just gave an opinion and some of you want to hire Tom Cruise and his mission impossible team to find out the truth. My thoughts are an opinion, nothing more. Peace, peace.
