Mr. Shero, I have a Mr. Feaster on the line for you...

LOL to talk to him they will offer the Penguins:

Seems like a pretty fair contract, given what Malkin has on his resume.

I do think that having THAT much paid out to two players is risky. Two ruts in the ice could take out 28% of your player salary expenditures for an entire season.

The Pens had better hope that they have a steady stream of quality guys on entry-level deals. That's the way it has to work to be successful, IMO.

Trading Iggy's rights? Really? Wonder what team would be that impatient.

Lots of speculating that Iggy's negotiating rights will be moved by the Penguins for a draft pick...

I hope not...I'd love to see him on Sid's right wing for a while...lets see what these guys can do...(unless Disco Dan still insists on Iggy playing left wing for Geno)

My opinion on Iggy during these playoffs have been stated... however... to me it is no surprise that the only line that was not tampered with was Sid's line... Iggy not playing on Sid's line, to me, is a clear indication that Sid didn't want him (or anyone other than Kunitz or Dupuis) on his line... next year is different, Dupper may not be back (I think Bennett will take his spot)... I think Dan's hand was a bit forced... yep, coaches and owners catering to their superstar is not unheard of, and I think that was the case here as well.
