Sid puts the Pens up two going to the net with his second goal of the night. Lehner lost track of the puck, and Crosby made no mistake on the finish. 4-2 now.

That was just terrible goaltending by Lehner on Sid's second. Holy cow. Here, Sid, have a goal.

Ugh, Scuderi lost the puck in his feet, and it cost them a goal. Though, Stone got away with a very clear interference.

And now the game is tied. Balls.

Greiss shouldn't have give that one up, there was no pace on that shot at all.

Good start to overtime, though. Three really good chances right off the bat.

Perron with a simple move and a great snapper to put the Pens up 1-0.

Crosby tried to go five-hole, but Lehner read it. Opened it up and showed it, but closed it.

And a post ends it. Pens win 5-4. Survived, really.

Yup, they looked tired in the third tonight, though. The Vancouver debacle aside, though, they've been deadly on the forecheck of late, really pinning teams for long stretches. Perhaps most importantly, though, both Sid and Geno look to be getting going. In the overtime especially, those two took over.

What do you do about Greiss, he has been pretty bad.

See that Enroth deal makes you wish the Pens would have done that. Yeah you give a 3rd round pick but honestly if the end point is to win a better backup is needed.

From a Sabres standpoint they are going to use Lindback to lose and Greiss could do the same.

Other than that one move there, I thought Sid played great last night. I would fine him for that cross check though.

That penalty on Letang was so bogus it cost them a goal, and got the Senators moving.

Last night it a good example of why it is so unfair making them play back to back games while the other team had the previous night off. Pens were dominating, but obviously ran out of gas in third. I'm glad the Pens won, but Ottawa got a point that they wouldn't have gotten if things were equal.

I know it was stupid for Sid to throw that cross-check, but he got called, and then Stone didn't for doing the exact same thing to Scuderi, and it led to a goal for the Sens. I was listening to the Ottawa broadcast, and the announcers weren't even sure how he got away with it.

Officiating has to be consistent, and it clearly is not.
