This could really cause some franchises to rethink their stance on letting their investments play for Team USA in the future.

Which is a shame.

I still maintain that these guys could get injured in a scrimmage, etc. any day of the week. Injuries aren't limited to international and professional games.

As long as these guys are practicing - and they should be practicing year round - they are at risk of injury.

If it eight months he could be back by April just in time for the playoffs.

I dont think teams that win 25 games are eligible for the playoffs.

This is a full year injury, broke in two places, look at the shape of the stupid frame of the backboard support. Above the ankle, below the knee. he is nuts to try any sooner.

This upcoming season would have been the first for PG and his five year 91.5mil dollar max contract

Injuries are going to happen if you play sports long enough. You can't put them in a rubber room.

I finally saw it. The T.V. clip didn't do it justice. It does remind you of Thiesman. And you can't burn either one out of your memory. Can you?

Larry Bird is now saying Paul George could return this season. No need to have George come back and play this year. For the best of the future it would be best if the Pacers keep losing this year and get a top 5 pick and hope we get lucky and maybe even win the lotto. Then it would be best if Bird looks to trade some of the older guys, practically David West who's contract is coming up soon and does have some value that a playoff team would love to add.
