If it eight months he could be back by April just in time for the playoffs.

I'm not sure I'd even bother testing it out then. He'd have to play himself into shape during the most intense type of basketball. You're setting yourself up for further injuries.

Plus, I have serious doubts Indy can make the playoffs without him anyway.

Yeah very true. Hibbert is going to have to turn into a dominant center for that to happen

That is really bad. Seems like when people break their leg like that they are never the same.

Seriously doubt its career ending. If its simply broken bones he'll be good as new in a few months. Speaking from experience on this.

Dunno, looked alot like Tyrone Prothro.

That reminded me of the Kevin Ware break during the NCAA's Louisville vs. Duke game.

Don't look. His right leg broke at the calf. His calf is touching the floor with the rest of the right/foot are over to the right. Not for a weak stomach. It looks like something out of a movie

Being a Pacers fan may be a bit like being a Cubs fan.

PG is somewhat in love with himself, but for the most part, a quality person. Figures it would happen to him.

I saw it once, once was enough. Hopefully he can recover quickly. But an injury like that, he may never be the same.

This could really cause some franchises to rethink their stance on letting their investments play for Team USA in the future.

Hopefully he has a full recovery and can resume his playing career.

At least now we won't have so many obnoxious haters this year. After all, the fairweather fans only hate us we we're good. Because these said fans know that if we beat their team (the Heat in previous years, the Cavs, Bulls or Knicks going forward), they know they won't be a fan of that team anymore.:lame:

Pot meet kettle... Stop pretending like you fanbase is better than any team you mentioned. Pacers have mediocre fanbase.

What also makes this worse is that Rose saw this whole thing.

That is the last thing he needs to see.

Since the roles are reversed now (like Indy and Chicago's were in 1999) you can become a Bulls fan again like you were in the Jordan days.

Dunno, looked alot like Tyrone Prothro.

I snapped my femur in half in high school play hockey it was a long recovery process and outside of a small flexibility loss it was fine after the fact.

I don't see this effecting his career outside of missing this year
