The Jets obviously have a lot more riding on this game than the Pats do and it is showing up on the field. Take nothing away from the Jets, they are playing a great game. They are playing to win while the Pats are playing not to lose (bodies, that is). Still managed to lose Vollmer and the injury didn't look good. Pats are making it close and might still pull it out, especially if the defense keeps making big plays, but, as I said, the Jets have their whole season riding on this game.

No doubt

We have home field advantage riding on this though, but as you said this game is the Jets season.

Great gimmicky game plan by Skippy. 0 fer on third down.

I suppose it might not be all bad, Pittsburgh might be out if these scores hold up.

Well, the Broncos and Jets have found the secret to beating the Patriots; hold them to a tie in regulation and get them into overtime. Obviously, the Pats have shown that overtime is their achilles' heel. The offense is ineffective and the defense forgets to show up. Also, the Jets game shows that giving the other team the ball in overtime doesn't work any better than taking it yourself. I expect to see a want ad in the Foxboro newspaper on Monday asking for all eligible offensive linemen to report to Gillette Stadium. One thing the Jets game also showed is that the Pats could really use a cornerback with some height. Marshall and Decker looked like Wilt Chamberlain playing against the Munchkins out there. Butler, Ryan, et al have done a good job this year but the obvious height difference puts them at a significant disadvantage.

Can someone please explain to me why BB took a time out at the end of regulation only for him to tell Brady to kneel.

The dude they pay to jam the signals at Gillette got mixed up and jammed Brady's head set. They needed the timeout to get the call in:noidea:

this isn't the only time this has happened and I am really starting to doubt BB... Or at least really shake my head!
