I hope I can watch this somewhere in SC.

The Pats are looking to be a few bodies short for this game. Amendola won't be playing, Edelman will most likely be sitting it out. Gronk could be on the sidelines also. Belichick isn't going to take a chance of losing anyone for the rest of the year. You know that Brady will play, but if he's under constant threat, I think BB will pull him and give JG a shot of pulling the train.

Too bad the Cinci/Denver game doesn't precede this one.

Not sure what to expect out of this game. They're all tough this time of year and the Jets will be bringing all they've got.

Do we expect Amendola and or Gronk to be playing in this game? If they don't play the Patriots lose imo.

Amendola was limited at practice on Wednesday and Gronkowski did not practice as he was at his former trainer and close friend's funeral.

Edelman had limited practice also.

Rumors are flying and no one knows what Belichick will do. The one thing to remember is that Belichick wants to beat the Jets more than any other team and he'll do anything to embarrass the organization, not the team. Several things we do know.....Steven Jackson will play, Leonard Hankerson will play, Leonard Johnson will play.

It is expected that Amendola, and Gronk will play at least in a limited role and possible Edelman may see a few plays but it's doubtful that he will be a target.

Why risk putting Edelman out there even if they use him only as a decoy? No sense for him to go out there and get hurt for a game like this. He still would have to block and we all know he can get hurt without ever getting contacted by any player.

I see Amendola and Gronk suiting up but playing very limited minutes (if game is close)

Unfortunately, this remains a must win for the Pats. A win locks up the #1 seed and gives a three week period to rest players. It would be terrific to see Jimmy start the Miami closer.

Just win the Jets game and I'll actually be okay with losing next week. Just as long as we can get our stars healthy and prepared for the playoffs.

First, Allowing Edelman to run a few routes would help him with his timing. He hasn't been on the field over the past six weeks and even though he's been working out in the dome, getting in some non-contact running would benefit him a bunch.

Second, Brady said on the radio that not playing a game is bad for every player. He wants to play every game to keep himself mentally sharp.

Third, BB wants to beat the Jets and eliminate them from the playoffs.

Let them play. As much as I hate the idea of potential injury you can't play scared. Go secure HFA and then rest them next week. Just don't allow Amendola or Edelmen return kicks. Or if they do fair catch it EVERY time. Lots of safe short passes which (usually) there is less chances for a big injury. Mix in some S. Jackson, White and Bolden and hopefully come out the victor?

Then let TB play one or two series in the Miami game since he doesn't like to sit. Everything safe so the POS Suh doesn't take a cheap shot.

Sounds like Edelman and Amendola on offense and Hightower and, maybe, Chung will sit. Also, Gronk will probably play (hopefully, only as needed). Hope the Pats can put this game away early so they can rest critical starters. K Martin should handle both kickoff and punt return duties. Hopefully, some of the newer players, like Hankerson and Jackson, can keep the offense clicking. The Jets will not be an easy opponent but, if the Pats can get past them, they can put it into cruise control against the Phins and give the subs a chance to get some game experience.

Found several good places to watch the game Sunday. Looks like the weather will be cool but sunny. I'd call it hot for this time of year. Belichick has eight players who are "Game Time" decisions. That basically says that he wants the Jets to spend more time trying to figure out who's playing where.......

Update on the Diamond All American Bowl 8th Grade Game. My grandson has been given #18. Wouldn't you know that he on the "White" Team and they'll be playing the "Red" Team. He'll look more like Peyton Manning in an all white uniform with red trim.

Wow the Pats are mailing this game in, I know they are missing alot of guys today, but the ones out there are showing no heart. They might as well pull every starter out and play the backups the second half, because the way there are,playing they are going to get someone else hurt.
