I know my job, and my duty. I would contact the prescriber to see if there was a medical justification. If that answer is unsatisfactory (which is almost always is), I would refuse to fill the rx. If the patient wants to complain to the state board (which they never have), I will give them the number.

By the way being a Pharmacist is not a job I'd want. Too many things cab go wrong and if they do very bad things can happen. You have a lot of responsibility.

Did it give teams using steroids an advantage, yes. Was it against NFL rules, no.

By the way today made me research rods and the NFL, it all began in San Diego. The Steelers just got better results.

I am sorry if I wasn't clear before. I thought that stating a patient was a bodybuilder implied that there was no legitimate medical purpose. I said at least twice that I would "investigate".

I tell people all the time that I have no pressure in my job other than the fact that if I screw up someone might die. It's something I obviously take very seriously, which is why I laugh at people who think I am just a flunky for the doctor and whatever he says goes.

If a doctor prescribes a dangerous dose of a drug and I dispense it, I am just as liable as he/she is.
"Because the doctor said so" is not a defense. It is a confession.

And, for the record, I think using drones to observe/record football practices is cool. I wish I had thought of it.

I did not see where you said investigation it. Sorry for that. I do know and have seen where doctors have prescribed med that conflict eah other and it's your job to catch same.
