I know my job, and my duty. I would contact the prescriber to see if there was a medical justification. If that answer is unsatisfactory (which is almost always is), I would refuse to fill the rx. If the patient wants to complain to the state board (which they never have), I will give them the number.
This is not what you said earlier. I have no problem with this approach. Had you said this earlier the whole discussion would have ended much earlier.
By the way being a Pharmacist is not a job I'd want. Too many things cab go wrong and if they do very bad things can happen. You have a lot of responsibility.
