Jamie Collins. How do they do this and not miss a beat. I've always thought this guy was a stud. Let's hope he doesn't get acclimated into the Browns system this week.

For the reported cost of a conditional 3rd round pick, I'm not so sure it wouldn't have made sense for Dallas to burn the 3rd rounder for a rental. And if Jaylon Smith doesn't look good this coming off season, you could attempt to re-sign and /or franchise tag Collins. Collins and Lee on the field together would be a tremendous duo. Collins could have really helped sure up this defense for a playoff run.

Belichick has never been on my Christmas list but I have to admit that guy has engineered a remarkable run in NE and is a sure first ballot hall of fame coach

From what I have read so far, Collins has unreal contract expectations. Apparently is looking for "Von Miller type money", if these stories are to be believed.

Hell, for a conditional 3rd rounder, I would have rolled the dice on renting him for the rest of the year, with the option to tag him for a year. The tag # on a MLB isn't that big I don't think - have to check on that.

They at least traded Chandler Jones to the Cards. I'm walking on dangerous ground knocking the Browns but that would be awful. I do think Cleveland is better than 0-8 and are dangerously due.
