I thought the Cards were going to be a force after they won 13 games, went to the NFCCG and returned 100% of their starters the next year while adding talent.

They didn't even make the playoffs.

Zero sense holding on to a 28 year old 8 time pro bowl CB at 12 mil per? He is under contract for 2 years before any franchise tag situation. If I was rebuilding, that might be the first guy I go after.

Expectations are to make playoffs. Nothing about that is extreme. The expectations the media, vegas, etc. are setting is the real issue. This team won 7 games with a pretty good team, they have improved a lot and have an easier schedule, that's why expectations seem so high. The team is young still, a division title is a possibility and playoffs is too. I'm not seeing any Browns fans saying they are SB contenders. Expectations are right where they should be, actually have seen most Browns fans excited for the anticipation but really want to slow down the hype some, still gotta see them on the field.

I travel to the Cleveland area a lot for work and interact with a lot of browns fans. Believe me, the hype train is alive and moving.

Personally, I would like to see the Browns do well. It’s hard to dislike a team that has been bad for so long. It’s similar to the Cardinals. Aside from division rivals, I think it’s funny when people talk shit about them.

Yes, imo, under the circumstances zero...if he were 25, yes.

As it stands he'll be 29 when the season starts...he'll likely be 31-32 before AZ is really able to parlay his talent into a contending team. I would've taken picks and went for younger players.
