Bucky Brooks at NFL.com did an article on top 5 pass rushing duos.
Tamba Hali/Justin Houston top NFL's best pass-rushing duos - NFL.com
Let's put sack number on these guys from last year:
1. KC Hali 11 & Houston 11 = Total 22
2. STL Quinn 19 & Long 8.5 = Total 27.5
3. CAR Johnson 11 & Hardy 15 = Total 26
4. DEN Ware 6 & Miller 5 = Total 11
5. NO Jordan 12.5 & Gallette 12 = Total 24.5
Ware and Miller only played a combined 22 games last year and weren't of the same team, which makes them a little harder to judge. I don't think they belong with the other 4 however. But how is that KC duo above the other 3? They played with the lead most of those teams so they were probably getting the most opportunities to rush the passer and their numbers still didn't match the others.
