Told you guys we needed that TD. Had we punted this would've been a 2 point game.

Witherspoon with 11 tackles today.

Who was the last Seahawk CB with 10 tackles in a game?

More curious about the number of targets and receptions allowed. That's great you're tackling but if you're allowing catches that's a problem.

I guess that was Sidney Jones with 11 in Nov. of 21. Not as long ago as I would have thought.

I am tired of seeing Bobo WIDE OPEN and Smith ignoring him.

Don't know yet, but he also had 2 pass defensed and appeared to be one of the better defenders out there today.

Actually, he played a solid game Shark. Got a bullshit PI call when the receiver pushed off.

I was watching the game from afar and chatting with friends so admittedly I couldn't watch it all with how I'd like to. That's great if he was playing really well! I mean hey, I'm rooting for the guy, he cost a lot in terms of draft capital and salary. Just saying tackles isn't really what I look for in gauging how someone played. Yah if you get 2-3 sacks or interceptions it's pretty damn obvious what that means. If you get a bunch of tackles was that because you allowed a reception or the play to happen? Dunno...

But I'll take your word for it man. I did see some of him at the bar and he did make some good plays from what I could see. Let's hope it keeps up! :suds:

3rd downs are still an issue on both sides of the ball, I see. The defense got lucky with the shitload of false starts by Carolina. But Dalton, Theilen and Chark chewed us up today. On the bright side the run defense was better and our running game was solid. 5 yds per pop.

They didn't throw his way a lot with Woolen being out but when they did, his coverage looked pretty good. Granted, he got lucky a couple of times but he had good technique and was solid. Woolen being out hurt us a lot today. That side got burned often.

Ah. Yah Adam tore us apart a bit from what I could see. Hopefully Woolen comes back quick. Witherspoon looks the part from what I could see. Now if Adams could get his ass on the field and Seattle could utilize him like the Jets did... might just be set lol.

Here are the Yards on every Witherspoon tackle.

1. 4 yards
2. 1 yards
3. 15 yards RB ( was a running play not his issue )
4. 9 yards on a man Burns was covering ( Burns and Witherspoon tackled )
5. 0 Yards
6. 10 yards QB scramble
7. 6 yards ( Dump off to RB )
8. 8 yards
9. 6 yards ( Prevent D )
10. 6 yards ( Prevent D )
11. ... cant find the 11 tackles .....

Witherspoon played well and looked like one of the best players on the field on Defense, Now we need Woolen to get back. I 100% expect some PI's against him because he is a very physical CB.

trading wilson away when they did is looking even more like the greatest trade of all time. the broncos are screwed for years to come.

I think we can all say that Jason Myers was the Hawks MVP today. What a game he had. 5/5 on FG and 2/2 on XP. Who ever had Myers as their kicker in Fantasy football just killed it.

Hawks need to start scoring TD though. 3 of 6 in the redzone.

I think these two QB's played almost like mirror images of each other don't you? Wilson wasn't the reason they lost and Geno wasn't the reason we won today. Neither one did much to help their teams win or lose.

When was the last time a NFL team scored 70 points in a game that's just disgusting. Did Miami just continue to run up the score or something? Or is Denver's Defense just THAT bad?

One of the most ridiculous losses in NFL history.

70 points!? The Redskins I believe scored 72 which is the NFL record in 66' which was pre Super Bowl era (or the 1st Super Bowl season).

I can shake my head in disbelief at the Rams loss in week 1, but losing by 50 points and allowing a team to score 70!? Jesus Christ, the entire team quit.

Then Sean Payton basically throwing Wilson under the bus, Hackett under the bus, his defense under the bus.. dude that entire team at this point has to be like, "Dude FUCK this guy." Payton has 100% lost the locker room. Well good for us I guess. Hopefully we'll get the number 1 3rd round pick (late 2nd basically).
