There is no way I can defend the game TH had Sunday. Fans are happy we won and are taking it way too far. I dont think it's even a debate. Howell should be playing. The Bears win should have been a blowout if Samuel catches the ball and we hit the fg. Lets see if TH can put a game like Wentz did against JAx. I dont care what other posters think. Im giving you some fans take on Wentz. THis was from hogs haven, RR has done alot of dumb things so far. No arguments.
Who is taking it too far? I claimed TH is the backup and he is one of the better back ups at that.
Which posters are taking it too far?
If Chicago had kicked fgs, they would have won that game as well dean.

We all want to see howell dean...all of us.
We have to be patient though. We are all hoping howell is the answer.
I think he actually is. Just my gut feeling.

I would also like an update on G Chris Paul. It was noted he plays with a bit of nastiness in him. If so, could he surplant Charles at RG who is rather passive when I watch him in sets. Wes should also be back soon. Perhaps Cosmi at RG and leave Lucas at RT moving forward.
PFF gave Charles a bad grade this week.

you're trying to say he is a crap qb. I understand why we made the trade from the game TH had yesterday.

I re - watched the game today (Sunday I was in/out admittedly). Charles looks unsure of himself at times and does not posses the nasty streak. I believe Cosmi will look better there at RG and leave Lucas at RT. Across the board its likely the best OL we can assemble with Rollier out.

To add, we might want to insert Wes in at LG when healthy. Norwell is struggling himself.
So, Leno, Wes, Larsen, Cosmi, Lucas

Now you're talking my language. Norwell has been better of late. Not sure Wes can play on the right side though.

Well, when his WR dropped a td in Chicago and the kicker missed a Fg, Wents would of blew out Chi. In sundays game if Wentz was in I believe we would have scored more than 23 points. Just my opinion. Im not inflating anything, the guy is getting a bad rap this year. Im not saying he is all world. I would rather have him right now than TH.

If Wentz was healthy this week he would be playing.
Slow your roll and Samuel didn't catch Carson's best throw of the night rhetoric. Wince missed badly on at least a half a dozen throws against Chicago. Including under-throwing a pass to Terry Mac who had a step on his man which should've been a TD on the same drive Samuel dropped what was probably 1 of 3 or 4 thyrows that one could say were decent or better throws. Even a couple of his completions were fucked up passes.

For all the talk of his big arm what has it really gotten the Skins this year. His 49 yarder to Terry Mac against Jax was huge. His 23 yarder to Dotson was the game winner and that was under-thrown, but Dotson made a great adjustment to keep the DB away from the ball.

Against Det he ha had a nice 20 yd TD to LT and a nice downfield pass to Samiel for 27 yd. Dotson had a 40 yd catch n run and Terry Mac had a catch n run rec for 35 yards. All in the 2nd half. Which couldn't make up for a 1st half that saw the Skins gain like 39 yards mn get 2 first downs on 7 possessions including giving up a safety on a Wince fumble.

Agauinst Philly Terry Mac had a 45 yd catch n run. Good news though, they did double up their 1st half 1st downs from the week before getting 5 1st dn o n 51 yards gained.

Against Dallas Dotson had a 31 yrad catch, Wince and the OL played terrrible

Against Tenn - this could be considered Wince's other big game as he put up 359 yards and 2 pretty deep passes to D Brown of 75 n 30 yards. And both Terry Mac n Samuel had catches of 30+ yards. Here's the thing though. The Skins went 1 for 11 on 3rd down and he over-threw Sims on what could been a 80 yard TD with an on target pass. When when he could've won the game with 3 chances from the Tenn 2 yd ln. He goes 0-3 with a game ending, soul crushing INT on a WTF pass to McKissic who was covered liike a blanket.

Why do people blame Carson for the Skins 2-4 record. IMO its because he's the one person that has the most opportunities to affect the game in a positive manner for the Skins. And while he's hit on some big plays trhis year. He misses FAR TOO many opportunities due to his inaccuracy in the short and intermediate passing game. Like in the Chicago game. Samuel dropped a great pass by Wince that should've been a 40 yard TD, but he then goes and under-throws Terrry Mac with a shitty pass on that should've been a 20 yard TD.

He's inaccurate (under-throws mostly I'd say) with far too many short n intermediate passes like he's hoping to guide the ball where it needs to go. As opposed to just putting it out there for his receivers to go get. He has bad pocket presence and happy feet in the pocket which leads to bad mechanics when he throws the ball. He also has a case of tunnel vision causing him to miss guys who are open.

I didnt say he was playing at a high level, but I think he is the best we have.

Wentz game one and two was the best we had but he got beat up. Wentz since that point has heard footsteps and became excessively inaccurate. The only passes he can complete are quick drops.

He was fine in Titans game just made a bad read at the end of the game that cost us the game. We should be 4-3 right now. I think Indy is beatable even with TH.

This was from a coltsfan, on the general board.

Personally as a Colts fan, I wanted to give Wentz another shot. We cant keep starting every season with a new qb. I think a second year with Wentz would of been the best course of action.
