hey i thought we would have a good team this year. Most of us wanted a QB upgrade. Am i supposed to give up on the season at 3-4?

there's a difference between being realistic and giving up. I root for them every sunday to win but i am also realistic about what the roster is and the limitations of it.

Everyone told you the team was average to below average and you never let it go. You made over-the-top predictions and then tried to intimidate people into actually gambling on the WSH record.

You told me to "put my money where my mouth is" when I said we were not going to win 11 games. Stop playing the victim Dean.

I understand that. And you are missing the point we are trying to make. It is not just 6 games, its 6 years. Has Rivera given up on Wentz? I don't know. We do know that he blames Wentz for the team play and why they are last in the division. Rivera said "quarterback".

It is fine to be excited after a win, however, it is hypocritical to anoint someone as "our quarterback" literally after 1 game but then criticize others who want to move on from Wentz after seeing 6 games.

RR kind of walked back those statement. I know what you are referring to. I doubt he puts the 2-4 record on Wentz. I thought he meant to say over his tenure about the QB position. I just dont think t6 games is fair. His previous stops shouldn't matter b/c he is in new system.

I did. I told you to bet the under b/c you thought we would have a bad year. I also told you that we were the most popular Vegas over bet. 11 wins had nothing to do with it.

His previous stops can be used to look for trends and problems in his game. They can be used to establish patterns. They are all surfacing here as they did in Philly and Indy. Wentz is not a good quarterback period and nobody wanted him except us.

I think beating the Colts is realistic. I think being 6-6 is realistic. Of course, I had alot of optimism with my 11-win projection b/c I thought QB was really holding us back last year. Alot of people did. Plus, I looked at the schedule. Who would have predicted the Giants this year?

beating the colts is realistic. but when you stack up washington to the top 5 teams in the NFC currently they aren't very good. I didn't even mention the top 5 in the AFC because it is laughable.

They thought Ryan was the better QB and would take them to the Super Bowl. they still gave up a 3rd to get Ryan. they had the mindset of anybody, but Wentz and we can win, and they were wrong. They won't even put Foles in. They went with an unproven guy. Heck we should of did the same thing and put Howell in. lol

I hope we move on from Rivera at the end of the year and get experience in the front office so we can build a team properly. Hiring Rivera to run the front office was always a mistake. I would like to see more humility in the front office instead of pride, arrogance, and nepotism.

Stop changing the subject...Rivera said "quarterback" so yes, he does blame Wentz for us not "being further ahead". He said it himself for THIS YEAR. That is what the reporter asked. Keep in mind Cooper Rush was starting for DAL when the question was asked.

It doesn't matter if TH is better, he has no future here. So, you are saying RR has no ties to Wentz? You're speculating that we would have beaten Jax and Chi with TH. You don't know that for sure. RR is the guy who made the move, he is the guy who didn't want TH as QB1 this year. RR is the guy who drafted Howell. Howell not being ready is nonsense. Is Ellinger ready for Sunday?

Whos is moving goalposts? You can say for 100% TH would have won those games. Or I can say the same thing that Wentz would have beaten the Packers.

TH and the team were 1-4 his last 5 games last year. The team threw for less than 200 yards in every game but 1. They won the last game of the year against the Giants, TH threw for 120 yards, Gibson ran for 140+ and McCain had a TD.

i bolded the important part of the quote. 6-6 would be pretty fucking cool considering the start to the season. It is doable I don't think anyone on the board would dispute that. Am I confident in that happening? i think that is where the disconnect is when we have been discussing this scenario on the board between you and the rest of us.
