Think everyone noticed what team he had prevalent in the background.
Yeah but did you hear the reason for it? His teenaged kids forced him into that corner of his man cave and that’s all he could show. University #4 (UofA, as cited bush the FBI) backed into that game simply because Cal couldn’t defend the Hail Mary.
Anyway, all good.

To summarize LS because that might be too painful to listen to:

1. LS: Blah blah, California, humma humma horseshit, blah.
2. LS: I’m waiting for the SEC and B1G to tell me what to do.
3. DP: Your man cave sucks!

Washington needs to get the fvck out of this pos conference but I doubt that happens seeing how UW's lesbian Cal Berkeley grad President loves this kind of Nazi ass bs.
I have bad feeling most or all of the cfb season wont happen till next Feb this isn't just a PAC thing.

Bama is trying to rally the fans right now, but about every other school across the US is preparing for some heavily modified schedule for fall or all games rescheduled for early 2021. Unless Bama wants to play just 12 in-state H.S. teams, which of course would be more than ok with Saban and their fans. They'll pay extra for the last H.S. team to slap on some Auburn colors so their fans will still get all excited to chant rammer jammer.

So basically, you're just wasting your time whining about what conference will take UW...

Sounds about right.

It's not just a PAC thing. Many schools across the country are not sure when or how they will play. In much of the south people think the school is there so they can have a football team they really don't want to hear anything about what could go wrong but Schools like Duke , Kentucky Vanderbilt where they actually think the reason you have a college is for kids to go to class and learn and football is a sport. They are thinking about how to do it right or if they can do it right.

point is they were doing well even when USC wasnt in a slump. yes as they went down oregon might have went up those last 2 wins or so but also consider the conference split which changed the dynamic.

I'd say that Oregon has done the best job of both taking advantage of the years when USC has been down and still pulling in some of the better players that USC doesn't sign when they aren't down.

This has also allowed them to take advantage of the conference split because they are generally among the favorites to win the North which means they can sell kids on that even if they don't win the conference, they have a great chance of winning the North which has to happen to even get a chance to win the conference.

getting good players doesnt mean there were recruiting battles. going back that far couldnt tell you what the % showed when they were hot or cold on different teams or what ended up leading to them picking Oregon.
Terrance Kelly, Jerome Boyd, Geoff Schwartz, Jaison Williams, Jerome Johnson, Ed Dickson, Jeremiah Johnson, Kenny Rowe, Anthony Gildon were all recruited by USC

then there are Ca guys who weren't recruited by USC for whatever reason but were also recruited by schools like Nebraska, Michigan, Florida, LSU, Georgia, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Iowa, Miami.

There are always recruiting battles. Even if a kid is a heavy lean or considered a lock for a certain team, others are still going to try to get them to flip.

In fact, I'd say that there may be be even more recruiting battles because kids today have shown that they are more willing to flip (even after they've already signed their LOI) than players in the past and flipping is easier to do now than it used to be as well.

I'm interested in seeing if their change of offensive philosophy will affect the players they get. Their head coach is an O line guy who wants them to be more of a physical running attack and I wonder if they can steadily get those kind of players on offense. The O line he's been getting but to keep up with the way offenses are scoring you'd really have to control the clock and time of possession and for the past decade Oregon has attracted flashy fast skill position players not grinders. Maybe they think the defensive players they have will keep scores down.

Heard the pac12 was discussing the possibility of having an 11 game all conference schedule.

I really don't want to miss Michigan or watching Ohio state undress the ducks again, but I admit I'd rather play every other pac12 team than most of the other ideas I've heard.

Heard that they were looking at the possibility of a conference only schedule, but hadn't heard about a specific number of games.

I wonder if they would scrap the CCG since they would have a round robin and therefore a true conference champ?

Just heard on the radio that Alabama flatly denies that the SC game is in jeopardy.

Man I hope it does happen. I'm even thinking about going even if they don't allow fans in the stands and just watch it at a bar there in Dallas.

I will never understand how big games like these get pushed to neutral sites. That game needs to be either in the Coliseum or in Tuscaloosa

Because the SEC hates their own stadiums and fans to the point they'll play in the middle of a stock car track.

I've been saying that for years and arguing with Bama fans just as long. I've gone to that game . It's USC fans who can afford 3-4 days in Dallas the flight costs the hotel the food and tickets for the game and any pre game or post game parties. Then you have Bama fans who can leave at 6am and drive and be there two or three hours before game time. Or just leave the night before and drive for four hours and wake up and drive four more. I would have much rather gone to see Tuscalusa because apparently if you have unlimited funds and you could live in Aspen or Hawaii or Santa Barbara or La Jolla most people would pick Alabama. LOL

And the thing is after talking with some of them it's just a glorified home game because they play there every other year.
