Stanford really did the rubbers dirty last night. Daniels looked like a virgin on prom night out there fumbling with a bra hook. He looked his age out there.

Yeah, he really did. He still showed how talented he is, but the Trees exposed and took advantage of his inexperience, especially when USC was in Stanford territory. Field shrinks, everything speeds up and he was a little confused which caused late decisions and some locking in on receivers too quickly.

Dropped passes and inconsistent (at best) pass protection didn't help much either.

2017 Oregon was 7-6
Oregon State 1-11

DI AA
Portland State 0-11
DII
Western Oregon 3-8
DIII
Linfield 9-2
George Fox 7-3
Pacific 4-4
Lewis and Clark 2-7
Willamette 0-9

Im not even going to go lower. Linfield may have had a better record but If you honestly think a DIII school is going to play up what equates to nearly 4 divisions III-II-FCS-G5-P5 and hope to win you are dumber than we all thought.

So, what I gather from this post is that, outside of Linfield and George Fox, the entire state of Oregon sucks at football. :dhd:

Utah always plays UW tight. At least the last couple of years anyway.

Utah's offense looked horrible last week. But then UW hasn't been lighting it up on offense yet either.

I like the talent disparity particularly on defense vs. their offense. I'd bet on UW straight up, but I wouldn't touch the spread. Both defense will find some success and UW still can't kick a damned field goal with any regularity.

When and who decides these stupid things. Welp at least the PAC 12 sees through the other conferences bullshit like me. So what’s the criteria of being a P5 team. I’d like to know. Mystique, brand, the name? History? Do you think they’re a P5 team?
This was decided after byu went indy. At the time they were a tough out playing from the mid major level. They had to classify them somehow and most of the conferences placed them at that level.

Sure, they aren't playing like ND, nor a top flight P5 the last couple of years, but to be fair, they aren't worse than the back end of any P5 either and teams still get credit for those as P5.

It's all somewhat arbitrary at best.

Bullshit. It was agreed BYU would be considered P5 right here on SportsHoopla. Take your bullshit somewhere else.
SportsHoopla don’t make decisions and agreements like that. And who ever did is a walking pee boner!

UW-Utah should be a premier Pac-12 matchup, but neither team is playing particularly well
