almost looks like they are doing the "Don't show much thing" with Utah up next.
I'd buy playing down to the level of your opponent before I'd buy that. Kind of hard to get jazzed up for a game against a FCS team, even if this is one of the better FCS teams, or at least has played some solid games in the past. They are still FCS and everyone on that field knows it. They should be able to just run it right down their throats, but the energy just isn't there. ND is playing with a lot more energy and hustle.

So Haener came out looking like he had real energy. That was a pretty solid series by the backup QB

I know who he's playing against, and I know it's in garbage time, but Jake Haener made some really incredible touch throws while he was in. Garbage time or not, those were some amazing throws.

I thought it would be a 3 way competition next year between Eason, Yankoff and Sirmon, but with the way Haener played in the spring and the amazing throws he has made today, I think it'll be a 4-way competition.
