Bad penalties, bad calls, and bad breaks. Story line of the night so far. Some lack of discipline calls, and some...horrid calls have lead to 3 extra man goals. Pens have been the better team in the 2nd, but they're not getting rewarded for it. Gotta keep their heads on straight and just finish the game playing well.

This is Crosby's worst game of the season by far. Also, disinterested first period + taking poor penalties is our undoing in this one. Hard to be mad because these games happen, but the undisciplined thing bothers me if you can't tell.

So happy Sid scored. In an 82-game season, games like this are inevitable, but I really wanted to see him continue it and basically had no faith that he would. A little something to take from this travesty.

Ottawa played well, especially Elliot.

And Urkie, I really don't think Letang had any intent to injure Spezza on that play. He normally keeps it pretty clean. But yes, the Pens have upped their douche-level steadily over the past few seasons.
