1) As an attorney I'm horrified. Opinions like these are why I don't bother wasting my time in court.

2) This will still probably get knocked down by the 2nd circuit, although he wrote it very carefully trying to avoid that.

3) If you don't think brady cheated, you're an idiot. Plain and simple. This is Ryan Braun all over again.

Perfectly stated from a certified attorney

a very silly, silly rule universally agreed...but its breaking a rule that gained him no advantage. court agrees.

those facts aside...

he had guys prepare balls the way he likes. thats it.

So will pot now be legalized in the NFL for the brothers that need it to calm the Hell down?

I don't know if it takes all 32 owners to vote for an appeal, but I suspect Colts, Cowboys and Texans is not enough......

I don't think it takes all 32 owners, but a certain majority. It can go either way:

1. The owners will not appeal cause enough damage has been done.
2. The owners will appeal because they want to maintain their CBA, and not have powers in the players hand. I mean, at this point I bet every suspension will be appealed.

Just like you accurately predicted the Royals would lose the World Series because Alex Gordon dogged it to first. Simply amazing!

I still can't believe he did that. It's game 7 of the WS....what are you saving your energy for? The after-party?

There is literally zero evidence he did, so why would I think that he did?

To be far we can't 100% say that, since the cell is "gone"

Because the 2 ball boys were texting each other implying as much

Or do you believe for some unexplanable reason, they took that upon themselves

Wow. I am shocked.

That judge is an idiot. He essentially just threw out any and every penalty imposed as conduct detrimental to the league. Essentially players can do anything and everything that is not SPECIFICALLY spelled out as wrong and has a penalty listed out for the players to see beforehand with this idiotic reasoning.

What a MASSIVE overreach.

It'll get overturned if the NFL appeals which I am sure they will.

I wonder if Pats fans believe he actually did cheat, and thought the suspension was unfair?

Or do they really believe he had NOTHING to do with the deflated footballs?

(That isnt for Rock , we know what he thinks)

I think he cheated and I think he gave the wink wink nudge nudge to the locker room guys to get the balls as he likes them. But I think the crime he committed was a misdemeanor and he got a felony punishment.

The cell phone never mattered. They had access to everything they could want and told the NFLPA they weren't intersted in recreating it when it was offered to them. Something that would take 6 interns a day to do.

Makes sense. Brady and his lawyers took advantage of the NFL's stupid punishment and ran away with it.
