Our offense has gotta come to life

Man, some of you have Bevell running this team single-handedly. Carroll keeps saying this is the style of offense they want to run. They brought in Bevell specifically to run Carroll's vision of offense to go with his defense. I mean Bevell likely isn't without some blame, but he isn't the big problem.

Blame not having receivers that can get separation. Having Rice go down was a big blow, even if he wasn't a top receiver in the league.

Blame a line that can't generate much holes for Lynch most days (lynch's ability to make his own is crazy) and often leaves Wilson scrambling in under 2 seconds, not to mention the 1-3 penalties Breno is good for every single game.

Blame Wilson for missing open guys at times with his height and being inconsistent with some of his medium to longer throws. He may not throw many picks, but there are lots of missed opportunities at times.

Blame Carroll for forcing this style of offense that it seems none of us like.

Then, and only then, blame Bevell for his part in not making calls you prefer in key situations.

Plenty of blame to go around.

Part of the problem with our Offense is who we've been facing. St.Louis, Arizona, San Fran, New Orleans x2. Those are 5 really tough defenses. I think all of them are in the top 6 of the league or close to it. I'd like to see any other team face that line-up and see what their offensive numbers are. It doesn't get any easier either. We get Carolina or San Fran next Sunday so it will be another top defense.

If we survive and get to the SB we will actually face one the easiest defenses we've seen in about 6 weeks.

Defenses have been good this is true…
