Thank You @tducey for saving me from picking a domer. First WR to win a Heisman and he did it pre spread offense. I hate ND but Brown is a top 5 college WR easy.

I wouldnt put Brown top 5 NFL but he's easily top 5 College. Thats the fun in this draft. Normally we see Moss/Rice go top 2 NFL drafts. In this draft Brown,Crabs,Fizt,Warrick,CJ and some yet to be picked were better college receivers than both. The differentials are fun

I considered him, but his stats are not impressive at all.

You didn’t know I was joking. I like to take Tim Brown in the NFL draft and get some crap for overvaluing him. I think he is top 15-20 range honestly.

I do think Brown is undervalued in NFL drafts. But theres a reason I hated him before the raiders drafted him

Brown is tremendous, but lets not be silly. He wont the Heisman because of his PR. He had 12 career Receiving Touch Downs...thats like 3 games for Randy Moss.

Jerry Rice was AMAZING in college. Getting drafted 16th in the 80's playing at a small college, you know you were good.

Moss finished 4th in the Heisman. Brown actually won a Heisman and he did it pre spread offenses. Before stats were inflated. And while playing an actual quality SOS,Much more impressive. If we are going stats. Crabs > Moss.......

Pace finishing 4th in the Heisman also more impressive tho.....

And thats coming from an SC fan I hate ND

Brown also went to Notre Dame, he was in the spotlight just a smidge more than Moss and this stuff has gotta stop, absolutely in no way was Brown a better college receiver than Rice or Moss, that's just nonsense.

I disagree. Rice's senior year he went for like 110 1800 27
Debatable different levels of play ND may be an Indy but they play a P5 SOS. You also have to factor in style of play. Brown did not play in a system suited for WR's. I hate ND and UCLA more than anyone. But theres a reason Brown was the first WR to win a heisman. And it goes well beyond punt returns. He earned it. Crabs,Brown,Warrick were all steals.

Campbell may be my favorite pick so far. Not many players have the coach of their rival say they are the best college player they've seen i.e. Barry Switzer
