Hey, Big 10 fans! I've got a challenge for you!

When I did a preview thread for the PAC-12, I got over 110 responses. So after you cast your vote in the poll up above, let your voice be heard! With luck, we can top that mark.

As for me, Big 10 previews start tomorrow, with Illinois and Wisconsin going first.

Voted for Ohio State. Hope that's not biased.

No, not at all. Totally reasonable to think a team replacing 3/4 of it's starters will win the conference.
Its reasonable because of the teams in their conference.

You mean the other team in the conference that beat OSU last year and went to the title game over them -- and made it to the CFB playoff? That team? Or the other team ranked ahead of OSU in the pre-season polls? Which team are you talking about?

Oddly enough nothing you say is reasonable when you're trying to pimp-up Jimmy Jam. You've been brainwashed by that asshole in ann arbor.

Michigan State only returns 8 starters, and lost their QB. And I have 3 pre-season magazines(Sporting News/Lindy's/Athlons) and all three have Ohio State ranked higher. As does the Sports Illustrated and College Football News. I've actually seen more that have Ohio State ranked higher than Michigan.

CBS, Fox Sports, ESPN, Bleacher Report, pre-season or "too early" polls have Michigan ahead. In fact, a composite ranking was done of: Bleacher Report, ESPN, Athlon Sports, FOX, Phil Steele, Sports Illustrated, Sporting News, USA TODAY and Yahoo!, and Michigan is ahead of OSU by two spots in that average:
Here's A "Composite" College Football Preseason Top 25 Poll » The Spun

So while some might, the majority still have Michigan -- as does the average.

So in a composite that has Michigan two spots ahead, and doesn't have two other outlets included where those outlets picked Ohio State higher, it's unreasonable to pick Ohio State?? You're acting as if it's absurd for anyone to pick Ohio State when they basically have the same expectation.

And the fact those replacements may be equal to or a star above the ones they replaced!

i would love to see the Buckeyes picked 3rd in the east.

Urban just seems to coach better when there are doubts.

That said, I picked Ohio State.

Don't know what to tell you but this . . . when Urban and the Buckeyes are underdogs, they generally over-perform. If people have doubts, they use that as motivation.

Yes. The team that got stomped by Bama and beat tOSU on a bad day. Still favored, still make all the sense in the world. Maybe if scUM can catch up they will be favored one day...

You can post all of those "expert" polls you want, tOSU is still favored. And it is reasonable.

I held my nose and voted for Ohio State.

Michigan and Harbaugh are gonna have to prove it before I pick them to win the conference.
With the losses at tOSU and MSU they very well could win but you are right they need to prove something first.

Minnesota wasn't part of the poll, so I went with my 2nd choice, Michigan State. I have Minnesota and Michigan State going to Indianapolis.

The Golden Gophers' three cross-over games are @ Penn State, @ Maryland, and home vs Rutgers.
