Kuechel to IL. Rey Lopez up to replace him in the rotation.
White Sox put Dallas Keuchel on IL, Reynaldo López returns from Schaumburg
We just picked up what will almost be a sure loss each time through the rotation. Seeing as he enters during a time where we're about to face MIN, CIN, CLE, CHC down the stretch. Replacing a guy who gave us a damn good outing all 9 times he was on the mound this season. Where we won 6 of those and probably owed him at least one more.
Reynaldo Lopez is the worst starting pitcher in baseball. He is utterly hopeless. I would rather ANYONE. I mean it, ANYONE, but him. How in god's name do you prevail in a tight division race with him in your rotation?
Not to mention, Giolito, Cease, Dunning... I hate to be that guy. But they've struggled with good competition.
I really hate to be this dude, but if this goes beyond 10 days? I think we go into a slide, finish 3rd, and with a low seed.
