OU decommit: I was just tired of pretending

Considered the #41 CB, not like he's the #41 overall player. This kid is a top notch mid-major. He'll fit in fine with TCU or Tulsa.

OU is typically one to fill out their class at the very end. This is not a "Big Hit".

Not at all, especially since it is August. That doesnt mean he wont be a great player. OU and TCU have done very well with guys like this. Kids that project to different positions in College tend to be under-rated. Stoops and Patterson have been good at identifying kids like this over the years. Clearly Stoops doesnt think he is a 3 star kid. I am not saying he is irreplaceable, but it is silly to bag on him as a "3 star" when OU offered so early.

that is a poor example. Played LB last year. Colvin was a stud in coverage. You had Jefferson. I cant think of the last All-Big 12 team that didnt include a OU player in the secondary.

I think there maybe interest there. I am not sure he is a CB though. I have heard the interest is as a hybrid Safety/LB.. A TCU offer is always interesting. Patterson is one of the best talent evaluators around.

Actually Nebraska and TCU are pretty equal now in terms of programs, except TCU has a recent Rose Bowl trophy.
