I think every era has good and bad music. The 80s (when I was in young) for every Banana-rama had a Rush, for every Dead Milkmen had a Dead Kennedys. I don't remember the synthesizers, I remember that rock bands had brass.
Time filters out the trash and all you hear is the "good" stuff. The stuff that was good gets played over and over.
I don't know if this is a good one or a bad one but I liked this bad back in the day.

Not to address anything specifically, but I truly think synthesizers can be downright cool; especially the analogue Oberheims and mini-Moogs of the 70's. Come to think of it, the Hammond B-3's and C-3's are basically just early versions of a polyphonic synthesizer. Also, I don't have much problem with autotune when used sparingly; this concept is really no different than a guitarist over-dubbing or punching in where a mistake or unwanted phrase has occurred.
