the back way a play on the Soundgarden Louder than Love album that jsut came out...

The artists are free to express their opinions. If you're not into it, don't listen and then no one is "forcing" anything on you. Sheesh.

Politics shouldn't be a part of music. You can send a message about what you believe and all, but I hate when you get a song you like, with a great beat, and as you're singing along you realize the political angle it has.

One of those famous Greek philosopher dudes would agree with you. Aristotle I think it was. Art should exist for its own sake and should never carry things like political messages. That's called propaganda.

I think that they should listen to it if they are not into it. Political views formed without hearing opposing arguments has had disastrous results all throughout history if a large enough group engages it.
