As for Suarez: is he out of his mind? This is three times now!! What the hell was he thinking? It wasn't even a critical play. I just don't get it.

It's in Norwegian. Translation: "Will Luis Suarez bite another player?"

Guy bet 32 NOK (just over $5) at 175:1 odds. Walked away with over $900.

I was disappointed by the result of Greece vs. Ivory Coast because I was cheering for CIV (had them in my office pool too), but that was a clear penalty at any point in the game. Dumb play by the defender.

That last video of Suarez was pretty clear. It will be interesting to see what FIFA decides.

Also, it seems a few people on this board are applying the hockey mentality of changing what constitutes a foul depending on the time and score of the game. I hate that in hockey and am glad it doesn't really apply in soccer.

There's another irony here. Cast your mind back to the 2006 World Cup final. Officially, the refereeing crew saw the head-butt incident and that's why they sent off Zinedine Zidane. You can choose to believe that. Or, as many do, you can conclude that it was actually the fourth official, watching a replay on the pitchside monitor, that alerted the referee and had Zidane sent off. He wasn't supposed to look at the replay, but he did, and he helped the match official make the right decision.

There no longer are pitchside monitors that fourth officials can take a peek at. FIFA got rid of them in 2010. Had there been one, might Suarez have been sent off?

I don't think so. It took until well after the game was over for ESPN to show a real good angle of the Suarez incident.

Zidane on the other hand (even if you don't believe the officials saw it) was readily apparent the second they showed the first replay.

All evidence needs to be submitted today and FIFA said they will have a decision by Saturday.

Iran needs a win over Bosnia & Herzegovina for a chance at the knockout stage.

Nigeria and Argentina make history - first World Cup game to have both teams score in the first 5 minutes.

If Nigeria beats Argentina today, I'm getting $10 million sent to me from Lagos.

/At least that's what my inbox told me this morning.
