Portugal is weird, it's like, why aren't you part of Spain? That's why they lost, their entire country makes no cents.

Scoreless at halftime between Nigeria and Iran - I'm disappointed, here I thought Iran would be flying like a flock of seagulls
It's taken awhile, but the rolling 10 yards down the field after both real and imagined injuries is starting to piss me off.
If one is seriously hurt, it's not possible to stop drop and roll that far downfield.

german gamesmanship ???
I think its really foolish to perpetuate the idea that only saccer has cheats ... and that this is whats holding its popularity back ... whether its diving or roids ... "gamesmanship" is everywhere
Every sport seems to have embellishment, even in North America. I think what most of us really dislike about soccer embellishment is the way they react to the supposed pain. FFS, show a little toughness. Even the hardest fouls don't hurt that much.
I thought it was funny today when Muller's anger at getting head-butted overruled his gamesmanship. For a moment it looked like he would roll around on the ground in agony but instead he jumped up and got in Pepe's face. Maybe that's a better indication to the ref that something actually happened.
