I'm re-watching too. I re-read the books last year to remind myself of the details before I read the latest, and then watched the series. If it had never been a book series....I would still be totally fucking satisfied. This series is so goddamn awesome. At least 5 of the actors have completely supplanted the image I had in mind of their characters. I won't say which, because I think they're all awesome.

Yea, I am not much of a reader. After Season One I wanted to give the series a try. Didn't pick he first book up until a little over a week ago, but I am hooked. I wanted to finish the book before Season Two started, but that ain't gonna happen.

Absolutely awesome episode. The character dialogue is amazing (Robb vs Jamie, balish? Vs cersei). Joffrey is the ultimate little shit.

Agreed. Have to say they do a great job keeping the storyline and the relationships clear. With so much going on, it would have been easy to muck that up. The scene with Rob and Jamie was the best part I thought...

Jamie "Three victories does not make you a conqueror."
Rob "No... but it's better than three defeats."

Lannisters can't even muster a point for pushing it to overtime right now.

So are they doing each season along with each book?

If so, I like the idea of reading the book after the season. The first book, which I am on now is fun to read because I felt like I "seen" a lot of the stuff happen, yet the book offers more detail for me to put my own little spin on it in my head. However if that is truly the case, now that I have begun reading, there is no way I am going to not read every book before Season 3.

Rob vs Jamie was the best part of the episode as Eloco stated. Rob alpha maled the shit out of him.

Fantastic episode. The pacing, acting, and dialogue was top-notch. HBO hit a home run.

Cersei's "power is power" scene was brilliant - and Richard Madden is absolutely killing the portrayal of Robb Stark.

robb stark is the ultimate bad-ass right now. i love it. i dont think i'll be able to stay ahead of the series with my reading though.. somewhat unfortunate, but the show is awesome.
