Yeah, I am not sure either fanbase has room to make fun of the other.

Remember when Cersei and Jaime died when their whole world fell down? And then the following week Tyrion found their bodies just a few feet from safety? Good times. If only they could have ran up the falling rubble like Legolas was able to.

My one criticism (and it's very likely it could be resolved) is there's no one to break up the super heavy atmosphere. Not even necessarily comic relief (Tyrion/Bronn) but someone to bring in a different energy like a Littlefinger.

Thats part of the reason it took me seasons to finally like GOT instead of just watching it with my wife. Just so heavy for the first half of the series.

And the main reason I am not watching this yet. if at all.

Don't worry - I heard that Jar Jar Binks joins the cast starting in episode 4.
