ya i like pittsburgh too, i was just messin around.. i have lots of friends there..

i do hate the 'pittsburgh accent' though.. n'at, yinz, subject verb agreement.. makes me want to hit people with sharp objects..

That's not just an accent, apparently it's a dialect.

i cant look up the teams at work, but if what you're saying is true (i'm skeptical ) then my friend needs to take lessons on how to defend ben from me

What are you skeptical on the 6-10? Ben was the 11th pick in 2004 the Steelers finished 6-10. His rookie year he won 14 games in a row and the team finished 15-1. They have 2 super bowl wins and 1 loss in his 7 seasons.

and i consider the raping of humans worse than the fighting of dogs.. but that's just me

Every Ben discussion ends here. Until he is charged with anything people should really grow up and get a better argument.

How would you even use those? What the fuck are they?

well 'yinz' is "short" for 'you guys'.. where the 'I', 'N', and 'Z' came from your guess is as good as mine..

n'at is the contraction of 'and that', which is tagged on to the end of sentences that have no need for 'and that'.. "yinz goin dahntahn n'at" is an example of both being used in a sentence, and you can see 'and that' is not necessary at all

That's not just an accent, apparently it's a dialect.

wasn't skeptical of the record, skeptical of the team staying the same aside from ben's addition

i was just joking, no need to get your panties in a wad.. i dont take off the field antics in to a discussion about who has more skill on the field

and just because you wanted 'a better argument'

Rodgers 263 yards/start
Manning 263 yards/start
Brees 259 yards/start
Roethlisberger 227 yards/start

Manning 1.92 TD/start
Rodgers 1.85 TD/start
Brees 1.74 TD/start
Roethlisberger 1.45 TD/start

so i dont see how they're on the same level?

haha ya, dahntahn is how they say downtown

but with a grammar lesson or two (we was, you was, they was, just isn't right) i'd take listening to the pittsburgh dialect over the boston accent any day of the week

Boston is its own thing. There are different accents in New England. CT kinda has its own thing going on. Some areas have a Polish influence in CT, some kinda are English rip-offs, and southwest CT sounds like those NY guido fairies.

wasn't skeptical of the record, skeptical of the team staying the same aside from ben's addition

Additions: Duce Staley, Willie Parker, Jay Riemersma, 2 back up lineman, James Harrison (backup) and that is pretty much it as far as I can tell.

i was just joking, no need to get your panties in a wad.. i dont take off the field antics in to a discussion about who has more skill on the field

I dont have any issues with it, just addressing it. Lets not act like what I said about every Ben discussion ending there is all that far fetched.

oh no its not far-fetched, but i dont go there as an end to a discussion.. with a guy like vick on the eagles it'd be rather hypocritcal of me to think its ok to go there and hate when everyone goes to dogs w/ vick

if i recall willie parker had a lot to do with their success that year.. or was that before the 'fast willie parker' days?

You can hand pick stats all day, Ben had 2 down years and 3 that ended in Super Bowls. Last year he was top 5 in

Rating Over Manning and Brees
Yards/pass Over Brady and Brees
6 in yards per game Over Rogers and Brady
2nd in INTs 1/3 of Mannings total

I can go on but what is the point?

Not really, he was a backup that season if I remember correctly. FWP was the next season. He had his showcase against the Bills in 04 the last game of the season he destroyed them while the starters sat. So FWP was there in 04 but got like 20 carries all season.
