oh and go ahead and tell me you'd take big ben over peyton, brees, and rodgers cause he's won 2 and they've only won 1

I definately put him in that conversation. As stated earlier, the first was won in spite of Ben. He was a huge contributor in the 2nd win.

Yeah, Jeff. No doubt Marino was one of the best ever. Not his fault they couldn't play as well on the other side of the ball.

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww *deep breath* ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

So now I'm a Pittsburgh lover? I can't win! What if I say...

Ben Rapelisberger is underrated.

Does that walk the balance beam between hater and lover?

Longevity can get you stats, that doesn't make you the best. Emmitt Smith is not the best RB all time. Nor is Brett Farve the best QB ever.

I'm not talking career totals, I am talking single season records. But longevity most definitely plays a major role in being a "GOAT". If you can't hang, then you do not belong on the list. PLain and simple.

ugh.. i get in the same argument with my friend from HS (in Pitt).. i just dont have him in that category.. he's tough, and he keeps plays alive (also leads to a lot of sacks with him trying to do too much though).. but i dont see him as a QB that can carry a team.. peyton manning is the colts, without him they are not a playoff team.. same goes for brees in new orleans and rodgers in green bay.. IMO the steelers are still superbowl contenders with someone else in there.. how can they not be with the steelers defense and running game?

I still disagree in theory, most teams arent going to allow their QB to be out there up 30 points still throwing TD passes in the 4th ala Tom Brady. Can his record be broken, probably but I doubt it will.

It was rough in the nineties. If the defense was there for him, there was no running game. But when the running game was there, which is what he walked into (Dolphins had prolly the best running game going into his rookie season ['83?]) there was no defense. Sucks, Marino definitely deserved a ring in my eyes, but many believe if you don't have it then you don't deserve it.

Maybe Henne can get it done. :pound:

Yes, but not from performing the act. I give pointers to women who suck at sucking all the time (all the time, hahahahaha).

Lol. Oh, and I meant to throw this in earlier...

Prior to Ben with pretty much the same team they finished 6-10. His rookie season 15-1 and a Super Bowl in his 2nd season. He has been to the super bowl in 50% of his years in the league.

People hate Ben because of his public image and pure jealousy. If he keeps it up, he will be right there with the elites. Nothing is telling me that he won't get there. It is just so hard to get that mother fucker down as well.

I really like the city of Pittsburgh a lot. Good stadiums, fun stuff to do, great scenery, etc. Have friends up there and spend the weekend there from time-to-time.

i cant look up the teams at work, but if what you're saying is true (i'm skeptical ) then my friend needs to take lessons on how to defend ben from me

just going of my not so good memory, but wasn't the 15-1 season the season where jerome bettis returned from the dead to be a pro-bowl running back again?

I agree. His career is right on track to be one of the all-time great... serial rapists.

Raping dogs and fighting humans prolly would have been better for his image?
