I think security would be extremely difficult. Pretty great idea but the amount of security would have to be basically double and of course border crossing for the Athletes and coaches etc would be difficult. Not impossible but it certainly would open some weak spots that could be exposed by some nut job.

Pretty awesome idea but I dont see it happening. You would have US law enforcement wanting complete overall control and Canadian Law enforcement wanting the same. That alone is like Bruins vs Canucks and we all know how well that turned out. :P :P

These are the types of bids that I think should be considered more often because it would greatly reduce the cost of the games because you'd have a lot more existing venues like ACC, Rogers, Ralph Wilson, and HSBC.

And when you get into some of the European countries where one city alone may not be large enough to host, but when you have cities very close together, like Vienna and Bratislava or Copenhagen and Malmö, and it would open up a lot more options to the IOC.
