OT: Thunderbird e-mail questions

Does anyone here have this program from Firefox?

If so, is it stable and easy to navigate?

I have a 4 e-mail systems that I use regularly on a daily basis, but none that I really like, so I'm just looking for some input...good or bad.

I've heard it's kind of buggy and confusing. If you have another email you are comfortable with, I wouldn't switch.

Aside from messenger's like Skype etc, I use Comcast, Outlook, Express & Yahoo. I haven't tried google mail though. Do you use/like it?

I use Gmail, Hotmail, and Outlook. I've used Yahoo in the past. Personally, I think Gmail is the best. It's user friendly and clean.

If I were given a choice of any free public email system, and could only pick one, it would be gmail.

I use Thunderbird, but only because it's the only email client I can use on both Linux and Windows. It's somewhat handy when the Mrs has to hop on my Linux Laptop and check her email real quick. She's used to the layout.

I like Thunderbird, but there are things I wish it did better (Calendar/appointments especially). But I am an uber geek and most of my requests are unreasonable

gmail is the ultimate free webmail service.
