Haha, oddly enough I was contemplating posting this same article in the fucking nuts thread.

It drives me nuts how far from rock and roll so many of the existing and/or pending inductees are not even remotely rock and roll related.

The only thing that is a bigger joke than the very idea of the rock and roll hall of fame is how the rock and rock hall of fame is run.

I remind my wife quite frequently about the time a handful of years back that we walked past the concert stage at the PNE while a Cher impersonator was performing and the impersonator wailed mid song to the "tramp walking by the stage" to have a seat and enjoy the show

Sure some of these guys have merits as musicians, but if you're going to call it Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, make them have something to do with Rock and Roll.

It's not like we add Wayne Gretzky to the NFL hall of fame just because he was a great professional athlete.

North Korea responded by opening up with anti-aircraft fire.
