Jeezy Creezy, that sounds intense.

The worse part is over now, I suspect. It should get less and less painful each day!

Sabres' fans have certainly raised the bar as far as balls goes for the rest of us. I think one of us Bruins' fans would pretty much have to die to keep pace. Let's see, who's expendable...?

I don't think I ever said what type of surgery I was going in for?

It was for my top and bottom jaw. They removed the lower jaw, cut some of it off, and moved it backwards. The top jaw was was cut almost completely off, then they sliced it in half down the middle, added a synthetic bone material to fill the gap because it was too narrow. Then they moved it forward and also had to fix my nasal cavities as well.

The first time I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, I cried. It's a lot to take in, and I'm still in a state of shock right now. The pain is a lot worse than I ever thought it was going to be and I have to eat and drink everything through a syringe in the mouth.

get better soon my good sir

Oh... God damn IPW, thats insane. Surgery does hurt, I cant imagine the jaw, when I did my shoulder that fucking hurt like a bitch... I opted out for the painkillers cause I looked like a fucking junkie on them, so I hear ya on the pain. Get well soon brother, we got a NE division race to battle over . Take care.

I figured because of the amount of time it was complicated. Take care my friend and rest up. There is a lot of emotional and physical stress after procedures like that.

I'm sure you have great family support and for what it's worth your SportsHoopla friends are with you brother. Take care and get well IPW. you're the man.

Shit dude, I didn't even know they could put your jaw back on after taking it off. I'm surprised you can even open your mouth up after that. Good luck controlling the pain during your recovery. Keep those pain killers and muscle relaxers nearby!

Shit my mouth is sore just thinking about that.

My wife was a couple of hours late earlier this morning giving me my pain medicine because of the baby. I have never been in so much pain before in my life.

Things are still a bit rough, but once I take my codeine, everything gets numb, and I start to go to my happy place.

Things are just kind of a blur right now, and I feel like I'm in a Casino. I often have no idea of the time of day and I get all confused.
