Well I bet even as they were dying a slow painful death the jokee acknowledged that they joker got them pretty good and gave them due credit.
A guy at my high school lost both legs in a 'hot foot' prank gone wrong (some argued gone really right) but he understood it was a joke and he still chuckles about it when I see him wheel himself out of the woods he lives in by the highway.

Does this man live along I-75 by any chance? I think I saw him once! One of his prosthetic feet wasn't hooked on quite right and he was hopping about on one foot as I passed by. All I could make out of his shouting (I kept the window rolled up) was him saying, "Loose! Foot, loose!"
