great feel to that trailer, except every single time that vince vaughn showed up

See I thought they did a decent enough job of making it look good, obviously it will depend on his demeanor and the script but I think he can be ok.

I think so too. I do think he has done some good work in his career. However I am still skeptical because hes been pretty terrible in most things for 15 years or so.

In fairness, he's played himself for 15 years, can't fault actors for going with the easy paycheck. Kind of like Jason Statham actually being a pretty good actor but opting to go with the mindless action movies.

Statham was awesome in Snatch and he literally never took off his coat, let alone fought.

I like Vince Vaughn, and think he's done some decent serious roles.

Swingers
Clay Pigeons
Psycho
Return to Paradise

were all decent flicks?

That seems about right to me.

True but he has been in some really bad movies the last 10 years. Granted, he wasn't the only reason they were bad but when he is often playing the same character in bad movies he became annoying.

Swingers is great.
I liked Clay Pigeons.
I hated Psycho, but I hated the very idea of a virtually shot for shot remake. I still don't get the point.
Never saw Return To Paradise.

I dare any of you to watch 'Couples Retreat'.

Couples Retreat was robbed at the Oscars.

Bump for season 2. Once again pretty dark, not sure what to make of it after the first episode. Liked a lot of parts, already feels like an entirely different show than season 1 (which I think will be a good thing). I have pretty high hopes. Colin Farrell needs to be in more things, he's a highly underrated, under utilized actor. I know he was pretty banged up for awhile so that probably explains a lot.

I didnt mind it ... it didnt get the greatest advance reviews in the stuff i read last week ... moved slow similar to last seasons episode 1 but seemed "busier" ... more characters to develop in this one

there was a line last night that went (something like this) ... "you know Velcoro, youre a real asshole" and I coulda sworn Marty said "you know Cohle, youre a real asshole" early on last season lol

Sansa and others could probably use Rachel's belt knife.

Another thing I think the show missed last night was long slow overhead shots of roads and the city. Sure there were some, but they could have fit a lot more in.

Half the first series was just footage of them driving. We barely got any damn driving!
