Rewatched that clip a half dozen times today to see how Rust analyzed the scene... Just as Marty lays on the horn the spaghetti haired monster turns his head simultaneously with Rust, so the burn scars were most likely never in good view. Pretty sure the attention was focused on one Reginald Ledoux at that point anyhow.

It's time to fuck him up.

I'm tempted to watch it on HBO Go, but I feel like a climactic episode like tonight's is more deserving of a 50" screen than a 4" screen.

The 'making flowers' scene was both romantic and erotic, and that is often hard to achieve. It was titillating too, a triumph of modern television.

Lets not forget the setting too. A nice clean romantic chateau lovenest.
I do think it sent the wrong message though. Breakfast is the most important part of the day, have the eggs then make flowers.

I wonder why they had the bunch of pine tree air fresheners hanging upstairs? Everything looked OK to me.

Amazingly its still not renewed for a season 2. Everyone is sure it will be but its odd its not.

All new actors, more than likely. Well, once it is renewed. HBO has the script for season 2, waiting to see if they want to renew it or not.

What else do we know about the show? Not much. It hasn't officially been renewed, no actors have been cast, and Pizzolatto hasn't even presented his idea to HBO.
