It's going to be tough for anyone to get over the hump with the way Joker is playing. Although did you know that Joker had 27 more unforced errors in a 5 set match at this year's Aussie Open than Milos did in his match against Murray?

Don't think anyone's dumped on his game, just his fitness and physicality.

I guess that's what people are taking issue with though BBB because in my opinion he's made great leaps and strides in that department. His fitness (movement) is much improved over where it used to be, he's getting to way more balls than he used to and extending rallies. His return game is also much better than it used to be. Maybe you don't believe me, but I'm basically echoing what Darren Cahill and Brad Gilbert were saying about Milos for the past couple of weeks.

And yet he still pretty much injured himself out of a spot in the finals.

Hey, he can still do it in London and Queens but so far, test failed.

Gotta say, you've got a pretty good Hank Kingsley impersonation going on today. Are you predicting an Isner like slide for Milos like he did?

If you disagree, you're entitled to it.

He may have been playing great prior to getting hurt, but he got hurt and has a history of getting hurt and it's tough to win slams when you don't have the fitness to go with your talent.

How that even compares to criticising his play is beyond me, especially considering that just yesterday I said this:

He can beat Murray. I wouldn't have said that at any other time in the recent past but if he sticks with what's working he can do this.

Djok will still fuck him up, though.

But, whatever.

Milos says it was his adductor that was giving him issues in the post-game presser.

Milos did lose but he made it to 5 sets vs. #2. Got to think he's got a great future ahead of him in tennis.

Hit the gym, loser :D

It hurts light hell now at this moment. The heartbreak and the disappoint. Regardless, I will not let this keep me down. That is not how I was raised and that is not the kind of person that I am. I thrive of challenges and of difficult moments that on the other side make me better and make me stronger.

It's infuriating for the tournament to end on this note and to have to face this knot in my stomach. But it's not the end. Not by any means. I am better than that and I will overcome the challenges my body presents to me, I work far to damn hard and commit every waking moment to tennis, my ambitions and my goals, to not do that. I will grow from this and I will learn. I will give myself this opportunity again and I will move on in a better light. It may not be today or tomorrow but I am gonna do everything to make sure it's someday!

At the end of the day, it has been a very special January. I have showed great amounts of improvement and development in my tennis. I have played great and I have done a whole lot of winning. That feels great and I will keep pushing that forward.

A huge thank you to the fans and supporters who show their love and passion, on court, through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and any other way possible. You guys are great to me and I am forever grateful. I will much more to cheer for.

With much love!
Milos

Kerber upsets Serena in the women's final and Nestor/Stepanek lose the doubles final to Andy Murray's brother and his partner.

Well, BBB did raise a good point recently about Milos needing to stay healthy, apparently the adductor is still causing him issues and he pulled out of next week's tourney in Delray Beach.

/I think he's also pulled out of this weekend's celebrity NBA bball game in Toronto.

My inveterate friend tells me Tracy McGrady is the odds on favorite to win the celebrity NBA game MVP award now. As a degenerate, I'm not so sure I wouldn't bet on that game but like all sharps I need to see who the officials are first.

No need for him to rush to anything with the French still 3 months away. He's got a good 2 months he can use for rehab before he needs to get serious for Paris.

The next big tourney for Milos is Indian Wells in March, he has some points to defend at that event and it is one of the favourite events for the guys on tour (Oracle boss Larry Ellison pulls out on the stops).
