Goffin beat Milos in Oct. 2014, so chances are you're right.

lol - 18 months ago, Milos did not have a return game. Also, he's added a body serve to give his opponents one more thing to worry about as well as coming to net to put pressure on his opponent.

He was good enough to get to the semis at Wimbledon in 2014.

Like I said, should be good enough to get past Goffin but you never know. Federer tore him up in Melbourne by making him chase nonstop at the baseline. Wear him out early and Milos should cruise.

Milos has definitely improved his baseline game and his fitness, but I still think the secret to his success is keeping the points short and staying aggressive. Keep Goffin a few feet behind the baseline and come in on short balls, he won't win every point that way, but in will pay off in the long run.

Milos versus Joker, it's gonna be a tough one for Milos, I mean, Joker has a chance to pass Federer in grand slam titles the way he is playing.

Geez, what a beat down by Joker on Milos today, that was not pretty. Oh well, still a great tourney for Milos in his return to the ATP tour.

Djokovic is just too good right now. Milos is playing fantastic, and I think he can beat the likes of Murray / Federer / Stan on a good day, but if he wants to win any major tournaments I think he'll need to hope someone else takes down Novak.

Hearing that Milos might have re-aggravated that adductor tear, I hope that's not the case.

Just wanted to point out that Cathal Kelly is just terrible, if you want to read his article, you can google it, I'm not going to post it here because frankly I don't want the Globe and Mail to get the web hits.

Meh. Not the worst thing I've read by that asshat.

Is he not open to criticism based on the fact he (once again) hurt himself playing against a better player?

Sure he is, but you don't have to pile on either. What about recognizing the fact that Joker will likely go on to be the greatest player in tennis history (yup, I'm calling it right now, I think he passes Federer for most grand slam titles before he calls it a career).

Is he piling on for the sake of being the dickish writer? Absolutely.

But that doesn't necessarily mean he's wrong, and the reactions from the commentating crew kinda speak for themselves in regards to how he's perceived outside of Canada.

I'm glad you mentioned the commenting crew because that was some pretty unprofessional behavior during that telecast (at least in my opinion). Put it this way, if's that's Jack Sock or some other American player getting humbled by Joker in the final, I don't think we're hearing half of the stuff that came out of Patrick McEnroe's mouth yesterday.

Milos making moves in Miami (through to the quarters after a dominating win today). Next up, the wonder blunder from down under (aka Nick Kyrgios).
